On Sunday, November 16, 10 youth and 3 adults from WHUMC participated in an East Ohio Conference event called Project Feed through Midwest Mission. The WHUMC crew joined with about 300 youth and adults from 30 other churches to pack 27,000 meals. The meals will be sent to Jamaica for the Hurricane Melissa relief efforts there. The UMC of Kent was a wonderful host church and the entire process was well organized by the leaders of Midwest Mission, the East Ohio youth ministry regional coordinators, and leaders from the UMC of Kent.
